Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Frequencies Player (“the App”,
package name com.frequencies.player) collects, uses, and protects
information. The App is published by the operator of
schumann-resonance.org (“we”, “us”).
Summary
- The App is a tone generator and frequency player. It does not require an account.
- Most settings and playlists are stored locally on your device.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- If you contact support, you choose what to send us (name, email, message, and basic device details to help troubleshoot).
Information stored on your device
The App saves preferences on your phone or tablet so your experience continues between sessions. Examples include:
- Selected frequency category and last-used tone
- Playlist contents and playback settings
- Volume, binaural beat, chord voicing, and UI preferences
- An anonymous local device identifier used only for purchase restore (if in-app purchases are enabled in a future version)
This data stays on your device unless you delete the App or clear its storage. We do not receive it automatically.
Information you send us
If you use Contact Support in the App, your message is sent to our support endpoint at schumann-resonance.org. You provide:
- Name and email address (so we can reply)
- Your message
- Basic app and device context (app version, platform, OS version, locale, timezone) to help us diagnose issues
Do not include sensitive health information unless you choose to. We use support messages only to respond and improve the App.
Purchases
At launch, Frequencies Player is offered as a paid download through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies. We do not receive your payment card details.
If we enable in-app purchases or subscriptions in a future version, purchase status may be validated through Apple/Google and, optionally, a subscription provider such as RevenueCat. In that case, we would receive only the information needed to unlock features (for example, an anonymous app user ID and entitlement status), not your full payment profile.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use third-party advertising networks in the App. We do not knowingly collect data for cross-app tracking or targeted ads.
Apple and Google may collect diagnostic or crash data according to your device settings and their store policies. Expo/EAS may process update metadata when the App checks for over-the-air updates (if enabled for your build).
Audio playback and network use
Tone generation runs on your device. The App may use the network to check for app updates, submit support requests, or load future optional content. Routine playback does not require uploading audio.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal data, email us and we will delete it.
Data retention
Support emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain reasonable support records. Local App data is retained on your device until you remove it.
Your choices
- Delete the App to remove locally stored data.
- Contact us to ask about support messages you have sent.
- Manage Apple/Google account and device privacy settings for store and diagnostic data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
